Dr. Alex Spivak
I grew up watching my grandfather, a physician, improve patients’ lives his entire life. It inspired me to become a dentist – I can make immediate improvements in a person’s oral health and help maintain their quality of life. My wife, a physician in Waimea, and I are grateful to give back to the communities we love.
As a dentist, I have had countless memorable experiences. Restoring smiles and seeing a patient smile for the first time in years is gratifying. Equally gratifying is helping a patient overcome their dental anxiety by completing a pain-free appointment.
I have also served as chief resident for one of the nation’s most accomplished dental programs. I received awards in Prosthodontics and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and fellowships with the International Congress of Oral Implantology and Academy of General Dentistry, the latter of which is only awarded to 7% of dentists nationwide.
When I’m not caring for patients, you might catch me at one of our local surf breaks. I also love to dive, spearfish, and garden.
