Dr. Amanda Kerns loves helping children overcome their fear of the dentist and providing compassionate care. “I saw a 3-year-old child for her first dental appointment. She had fallen and fractured her two front teeth. She was terrified and her mother was heartbroken.
Over the last two years, I’ve slowly built a level of trust and comfort with her. At the end of her last appointment, she gave me a big hug and said she wanted to be a ”tooth doctor” like me when she grows up! I have the best job in the world”.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Kerns is training for marathons and exploring Hawaii’s waterfalls.
