Dr Westphal is always awesome and cheerful when dealing with my children! He is positive and explains everything to where our kids learn how to care for their teeth. The Kapolei Team is always accommodating and friendly. The facilities is always clean and you can always see the staff constantly disinfecting the facility. Mahalo to your Team's professionalism!! I always recommend your company when asked!!!

The office was welcoming and professional from the moment we walked in the doors. My son could not wait for his scheduled appointment due to a toothache so the office squeezed us in the next day. The assistant settled us in, and Dr. JD Westphal came in and reassured me and my son that the tooth that is bothering him will be taken cared of. Dr. Westphal and his assistant did a great job with my son. They kept communicating to each other and to my son. The front office discussed the finances and explained each charge. Thank you Hawaii Family Dental Ka Makana Alii 🤙🏼🤙🏼 We hope to keep the visits to a minimum to the twice a year cleanings 🤞🏼😬

Everything about this location is AMAZING! I love the staff & the doctors! Even transferred my daughter here, best decision ever! The wait is never long. Cleanliness is on point! Always friendly! They are just fantastic! I’ve been going here for about 8 years. My daughter started seeing Dr. Westphal, I can’t tell you how wonderful he is! They do not strap children down which was my daughter’s first procedure without being strapped down (since her previous pediatric dentist always did it) & she did great here! With the help of Dr. Westphal being quick & agile. He also comforted her the entire time. I really appreciated that he gave me ALL the options to choose from rather than telling me what he has to do. Highly recommend! Nani is my hygienist & she’s gentle & is the sweetest! I now see Dr. Hall & he is also great, I had recently switched to him because my Dr was not in during my visit & I enjoyed him so well that I asked to be switched. Lol! Dr. Tom was my ortho for 7 years till he retired & I now see Dr. Shin. He is very thorough, I’ve had my permanent retainers on for a while with no problems. Lastly to Skye, Quadra & to the other women, thank you for always making my visit so pleasant 🙂 See you all soon!-Berna

By far the BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE MY OHANA EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! My husband will be establishing care with them this Friday, September 24th. A little back story of dental history for me: I’ve been traumatized my whole life by many dentists. I’ve waited YEARS before seeing another dentist because of really bad experiences BUT i am overly satisfied with the dentist here at Hawaii Family Dental in Mililani Town Center: Dr. Alexander Hall (dentist), he is AWESOME. From my tooth extraction to my tooth fillings, he was FAST & it was PAINLESS! I was in and out within 20 minutes from my extraction which heeled PERFECTLY. Dr. Daniel Shin (orthodontist), we’re currently working together to get my DREAM SMILE! He asked what I wanted to change about my smile & my response was EVERYTHING…he told me exactly what he would recommend but let me tell you, it’s VERY minimal 🙂 what I thought would be expensive & take FOREVER to fix, turned out to be an 18 month process & not as expressive as other dentists quoted me! When I say A LOT of dentists are in it for the money, he’s definitely not one for them. Also, my children (8, 2 & 1 years old) sees Dr. Joshua Westphal (pediatric dentist), he is THE BOMB, hands down!!! My children only seen 1 dentist before him (they were good too), but my children felt so comfortable with Dr. Westphal, that never happens (a new face usually scares my kids). Lastly, THE STAFF…front to back, every respectful, knowledgeable & so friendly. Make you feel like family rather than a patient, you hardly get that anywhere else now days.
