Great as always, place runs like a well oiled machine, you easily check in on the tablet. Have a seat and right on time or early they call you back, they have all the stuff ready to go. If I have an appt at 10 for a cleaning im usually done and out by 1045

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Chong and her staff. Everyone was kind and helpful. Dr. Chong explained my progress in detail, helping me to improve on my care and implementation of my Invisalign.

I had an appointment for a filling with DR Eugene,it went well,started on time,the shots were almost like I didn’t feel it which is great then the whole procedure continued fine,not too much of pain and in the end it even looked great,good service from the staff and overall it was OK.They recommended to do another treatment so we scheduled,I guess I’ll see them again,soon.

Staff very pleasant and knowledgeable in their positions. Dentist explained all treatment options, and steps, and pros and cons of all treatment plans. Also was quoted costs for next visit. Very pleased with Hawaii Family Dental and especially with Dr. Bono.

The young lady to clean my teeth was great. Was disappointed, though when I got there, I was told the dentist is not in. If I would've known that I would've rescheduled. I pay for my Medicare and I really wanted an exam. So the next time I get my teeth exam will be in six months forward which will be a year and a half from the last time. But again the girl who cleaned my teeth did an excellent job. Thank you very much. I'll see you in six months. I will call ahead to make sure that the dentist is there for an exam. Take care aloha

My hygienist Jeffrey was excellent. The 20 minute wait while the checkin assistant was a definite drag and I would give that zero stars. It was like this last time I was there too, and it has only gotten worse. Live staff at the desk please. Mahalo.

Vinnie was amazing as my hygienist. Answered all my questions and was very gentle. Glad he on board with your office.I would like to share that both my daughter and I (on separate occasions) had our six month scheduled cleanings cancel. And, in both cases, they couldn't reschedule for almost six months. That meant we both waited a year for our cleaning.

Employees all nice and helpful. Efficient check in. Clean office. Dr Young was very knowledgeable and explained the treatment options in an easy way to understand. Thank you. 🙏

Dr. Scott extracted a molar in one visit and in another performed deep root cleaning plus a graft. In the preparatory descriptions he was the essence of courtesy and polite explanation. In the procedures he showed great concern for the patient (me) to have minimal pain and discomfort. A superb professional!During the procedures, his nurse matched his professionalism and concern for the patient's (still me) well-being.A terrific team! Dr. Sieka is amazing! Very thoughtful and kind, always talks to the kids like they're important, and explains everything she's doing with their teeth so they know what's going on. I am always impressed with her! Her staff is great as well!

on my first visit, I was very surprised to see So many cubicles and people working there; and my 2nd visit today I again felt very efficiently taken care of. It is a Great place with wonderful folks!

Today, was as usual teeth cleaning. I experienced the new check in portal. It was okay, prefer human face to face. The office staff was excellent. My hygienist was awesome (Vinny) I love the professional atmosphere and respect given to all patients.

Staff and Dr Chang explained what was going on and what needed to be done. It took only an hour for 3 teeth to get new fillings.

Everyone at the front was very nice and helpful. Dr. Stone was gentle with a painful gum procedure and extraction. Very grateful we have someone experienced in his field coming to our island for dental care. We need more like him!

Love the self check in. Its easy and quick. Uour counter staff was very nice, pleasant and friendly. Keep it up. Such a refreshing atmosphere. My hygienist was nice, friendly and warm. She explained things as she proceeded with the cleaning.

My child hates going to the dentist but this place goes above and beyond. They were soooo patient. My child was throwing a fit but they were patient and persistent enough to do the things that they needed to do. Now my child is not as afraid, he is still hesitant but he no longer throws a fit. He just asks a lot of questions. They really are the best.

We drive from town because we love this office and staff so much. So friendly and organized. They always give us options and choices- feels like they really care about my children.

Aloha, Hawaii Family Dental Provided an excellent experience in dentistry. My blood pressure was 138/93. I was relaxed during my professional Dental Evaluation. I was also brought up to speed on which dental insurance plan is right for me! YAY!

Every time I go to Hawaii Family Dental in Kihei, I am always met with a full welcome. Most importantly, the entire staff goes well beyond to the BEST they can do for any particular issue. They answer all your questions in a friendly, professional manor and actually really care that you are satisfied. Everyone seem so efficient and knowledgeable. I have never been disappointed. Jen, my hygienist, is the best. Always so calm and cool and a gentle touch. I always request her even if I have to wait months for her service. Not sure why Hawaii Family Dental is unable to hire additional crew to service their clients.

I’ve been going here for years and I’ve noticed that the service of the staff has gotten a lot better. The front desk ladies are nice and sweet. Edwin, my dental hygienist, is so efficient, kind, and informative! My dentist is also very thorough and keen to detail. On my previous check up, she asked if I’d like to shave down my two front teeth a bit to make it proportionate to the rest of my teeth and it was something that I always wanted to do but never thought to ask. But she knew what would look best for me and offered. I now feel more in love with my smile 🙂 Thank you to the staff for what they do!

Vincent is the best hygienist, funny, makes you feel easy and knows his profession. I highly recommend him for cleaning but he books fast, and loves snacks.

I had trouble hearing the receptionist with a person standing next to me doing zoom with another person. That is a poor setup.Other than that everyone was very kind and patient with me.

Dr. Moon was great; very knowledgeable and kind. He addressed my concerns with my teeth and gums and suggested preventative options before suggesting fillings or procedures. I also had a cavity filled and he made sure I had no pain. Excellent - thank you Dr. Moon.

Dr. Sterling is a professional from start to finish of my extraction of teeth, while in process he let me know what I was expecting like you’re gonna feel pressure while I’m working the teeth loose and you’re gonna feel and hear some cracking because he wasn’t able to extract the tooth whole, and it was done quickly, maybe 1/2 hr, mind you 3 teeth were pulled! Dr. Sterling’s assistant did a good job and was second to none! Big boost to my self confidence and self esteem because of dr. Sterling and assistant, so thankful for my life will change for the better! Thank you! Also shout out to my WIFE! for her recommendation for this place at Hawaii Dental Service at Kamakana Ali’i.

I had such a great experience at HFD. From the moment I checked in, the entire team was welcoming, helpful, and truly showed the spirit of Aloha. Dr. Utley is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I was in a lot of pain when I first came to her. It was debilitating! She made sure I was well informed and knew exactly what my options were. I left her office without ever having to worry about the pain I had been experiencing ever being a problem again. She is kind, supportive, knowledgeable, easy to understand and talk to, and she is very passionate about the work that she does. I felt safe with her. I was very comfortable and confident being in her care because I knew she wanted what was best for my wellbeing. She has an excellent background that has given her a wealth of impressive experience in what she does! I am very grateful that she was the dentist put on my path to help me with the issues I had been experiencing. I am very happy with the results! I can eat again and I am no longer in pain!!
