The reception was very nice and efficient. I was personally called by my name to check in. My dental assistant was friendly and courteous. I’ll miss Dr. Kirsch but Dr. Chin was nice and professional. It was the first time I met Dr. Chin but she seemed knowledgeable and very professional.

Long wait time but this is understandable since we don’t have a lot of keiki dentist. Once you Dr visits it’s fast and easy.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the doctors bedside manners are awesome so much that they make you feel comfortable and not worry about the pain.I would highly recommend them.

I appreciate the efficiency of the Clinic from entering, greetings, checking in, settling accounts, X-rays, more x-rays, being checked by the Dr., and scheduling the next cleaning visit. Not to mention the million dollar technological equipment that takes X-rays and downloads the results like immediately! I like Hawaii Family Dental Mililani!!!

Dental Hygienist Adam Zahn provided excellent care. He explained every step and made sure I was comfortable with each process. His professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness was above and beyond. Great job!

This is my new dental clinic, i was previously at another site but wanted to get a steady hygienist and doctor to see each visit. these folks are in an easy location and are very accommodating. i chipped off a part of my front tooth and they scheduled me in quickly and repaired it without another visit after assessing it. at my age, I sincerely appreciate that the crew there is younger than me so hopefully I won't need to search for the gentle and sensitive care I am now receiving from them.BTW, I really don't like going to the dentist, but these folks make it so much more bearable!

The technician is always very nice & is very good at his job.That technician was the best I’ve ever had.I would like to always have her clean my teeth.

Overall I it was a great experience, upon entering the receptions was very polite and friendly, and the dental tech that took molds of my teeth was likewise very polite and friendly. However, before departing the office I had to cancel an upcoming appointment for my daughter, and a different receptionist that I had to deal with was very arrogant and dismissive. Her behavior and actions were overall rude, behaving as if I owed her something and was bothering her by asking her to do her job.

This was my first visit, and I was very happy to meet such a kind dentist and friendly staff. From the beginning of my reservation, the customer service was warm, helpful, and professional. Everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome throughout the entire experience. The clinic has a pleasant atmosphere, and the team truly cares about their patients. I really appreciate the excellent service I received and would highly recommend this dental clinic to anyone looking for quality care and a friendly environment. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Yesterday I had a deep cleaning done by the hygienist, Micah, and she was really nice! All of the people who work at Hawaii Family Dental in Hilo, Hawaii do a wonderful job with everything! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a dental place too!

Clean, professional and 9.5 out of 10 the receptionist is always smiling and have something nice to say the dentist and the girls that work with the doctors are nine point five nice as well and very professional and courteous couldn't ask for a better team thank you

Love my dentist..Wish the office manager would help with the problems of other work that I have started..I've been given a runaround for months now..I have been told by the front office..you can see the dentist, or the surgeon, but not both, because we need to keep the money separately..so work on my mouth stopped for 4 month, no work, no appointments. I never said to stop, and I'm frustrated ...waiting to see what the office manager will do for me.

Very friendly staff and my hygienist Christy Murashige was fantastic! I was always terrified of going to the dentist because of my last experience but she was friendly and very gentle. Today was my first visit to Hawaii Family Dental to see Dr. Chong. The staff members were very cordial and friendly. Dr. Chong was especially pleasant and immediately put me at ease. I truly enjoyed my visit and look forward to my future visits.

The Dental Assistant that was helping my Dentist was not very nice and she rushed thru with my care. But my Dentist came in and had to help due to the incompetence of the dental assistant. And when I voiced my request of not wanting the first dental assistant to care for me, she blurted out “Well this kind of stuff happens all the time” which I feel was unprofessional and disrespectful to me and my mom. So the other Dental Assistant Britney filled in and helped my dentist make it better and were able to fix the problem that the first dental assistant caused my Invisalign to get stuck onto my teeth. From now on I want to request Britney to be the Dental Assistant for my upcoming visits. And the receptionists are always nice and helpful. Thank you to my Dentist and Britney for another great visit.

Great experience with my cleaning this morning. Quick, easy check in and explanation of my treatment plan and bill. The cleaning was also quick and thorough and they gave me tips for continued health of my teeth. I also have a new baby so they let me know about their pediatric dentist who comes once per week!

Dr. Sieka is amazing! She is so kind and has a great personality. My child always feels comfortable with her. Highly recommend her to anyone with children.

Super clean office, great check in process with cost given to you before the visit so you know what to expect. Very friendly and efficient staff and amazing dentists! Dr Tapua is always friendly, gentle with a great bedside manner. And the hygienist always has me laughing and I can honestly say makes it fun having your teeth cleaned.

I have the best dental experience thanks to hygienist Laura, Dr. Bono, and the amazing team working at the Waterfront Plaza office. They are always so kind and supportive and encouraging of my dental habits and health. I recently had an emergency situation and Dr. Bono had navigated me to get what I needed before the situation got worse. The dental team is always so caring and careful. They have thoughtfully offered payment options and programs and even offered me a blanket when I was cold during a recent visit. I could not think of a better dental team to recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Had another appointment today and got a tooth extracted. I was half an hour LATE because I thought my time was 9:30 but it was actually 9am. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thankfully they were able to get me in. I Had to bring my kiddos along which was surprisingly easy. Tana-Lei was the dental assistant (ortho usually)but like I told her SHE’S TOP TIER! Mahalo Tana-lei(unless she said HANAlei(I’m so sorry!)The procedure was quick and I was out in no time. Found out Dr. Ngroni is LEAVING!!😫😫😫soo sad because he is so AMAZING to have as a dentist. I hope wherever he goes he is treated great! HFD PLEASE FIND MORE LIKE HIM!Overall 10/10 still recommend.Mahalo!

We love it here, everyone is very kind and friendly! Dr. Simon is great with all my children! It is hard to get appointments unless in an emergency so plan ahead when scheduling regular checkups.

Got my tooth extracted. Left the dentist office like a champ with instructions of post-care. Dr Gutierrez was very friendly and informed me of every step he will take. I psyched myself for nothing. Removal was fast and easy.

I had my teeth cleaned, & Nina was my hygienist & she was SUPER FANTASTIC!! I needed a good scolding for not flossing, & she really cares about each patient, I know. I've had a lot of dental work done recently at Hawaii Family Dental. Dr. Brian Matsumoto and his staff are professional and always concerned about my comfort and well being. Dr. Matsumoto is an excellent dentist, and over the years has provided me with implants, fillings and crowns with very satisfying results.

Both Doc and assistant were so kind, attentive to Jillian’s needs, professional and very capable. Gonna miss Doc because she’s moving to HNL.

It’s always a pleasure to go to Windward Hawaii Family Dental center. The receptionists are great, very welcoming and friendly. Jenn is a warm and caring hygienist who explains what she’s doing and who has a gentle hand. Thank you for helping us all to keep our teeth!😬😁😊

This rating is specifically for Laura, probably the best hygienist I’ve ever seen and that’s saying a lot as I have many friends who are hygienists and are very good. Laura is patient, has good instincts with what you are feeling (in my case when I’m drowning with water in the mouth) and had my teeth cleaned from many a tea stain. Laura’s great…

The office staff is fantastic and so is the dentist! They are accommodating as well as explain what needs to be accomplished! There are no surprises and they do an outstanding job! Excellent care and service at Kihei Family Dental. The hygienists are efficient, and gentle. The office staff are friendly and help get you checked-in and squared away after. I had a minor emergency two weeks before my regular appointment and they were able to squeeze me in and get the problem sorted out. I've been going to them for 12 years. Even though I live an hour away and have a closer dentist, I'm willing to make the trip because I'm sure the care is great.Mahalo

Well first of all the hygienist greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to the dental facility at Ewa Beach. Then explained the cleaning procedure and to my surprise she was not only professional and nice but very gentle while cleaning my teeth. Another hygienist that I went to, was a little on the rough side. This office made me very comfortable and wanted to come back on my next visit!

Staff is amazing and so attentive! But I wish they gave a discount if you pay out of pocket because my insurance doesn’t cover composite fillings.
