I am not a big fan of the dentist. So my anxiety was at a high not knowing what to expect. Kiana was so good in explaining what she will be doing. She was very gentle with my teeth cleaning and made me feel very comfortable. It has been a few years since I got one done. I appreciate her patience and working with me.

My visit at Hawaii Family Dental Aiea was outstanding. The check in process was outstanding. The doctor and technician that performed the dental care I needed addressed my issues and took additional measures to ensure I was comfortable during the process or while they performed the care needed for my teeth.

Dr. Sieka is simply amazing! She takes the time to make the kids are comfortable and works hard to ensure they have a good time! She’s engaging and knowledgeable. I cannot sing her praises enough!

I had a great first experience! I noticed right away everyone’s smiling faces and warm presence. Although there was some frustration with some guests, the team handled it very well and I was impressed. I also felt safe and relaxed when they put music on, as well as dimming the lights. At the end, I felt much better with my thoroughly cleaned teeth. I look forward to my next visit with these professionals!

Dr Hur was excellent as usual. He was very attentive and professional. He performed the work is his usual efficient manner. His knowledge of my history is very helpful. He went to the extra effort of adjusting my mouth guard so that it fit properly.

I felt listened to and well taken care of. The virtual receptionist/check in was interesting. Not bad, just interesting. I think it frees up the ladies behind the counter. My one worry would be for deaf and hard of hearing people. So maybe having caption on there would be a good option.

My daughter had a wonderful visit with Dr Shin today. He is very encouraging and she loved that he showed her photos of what her teeth looked like before invisilign compared to what they look like today. She was very excited about her progress 😬♥️

Everyone was so nice, professional and friendly. The virtual tech that checked me in, front desk financial clerk, dental technician and dental hygienist explained everything in detail. I went in knowing exactly what would be done and what I had to pay. They had high tech equipment that I had never experienced in other dental offices. Dr Moon was easy to talk to and explained what could be done to fix a problem tooth. Every service was done so efficiently; boom, boom boom , done! I have never received such wonderful customer service anywhere! Exceptional service!!

My hygienist Sarah was amazing! She was so delightful and gentle. I just can't believe how pleasant of an experience I had during a cleaning. Never did I think I'd ever say those words. Kudos to Sarah, she's great!

The receptionists are always so kind. They get you in ASAP for any emergencies even when they are fully booked! Dr. Simon is very thorough, kind and patient!

Great dental office. very clean and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful. Answered all my questions and explained what they were doing to put me at ease. Everyone was friendly. My temporary crown cracked and I was able to get an appointment as soon as I walked in. The staff all showed compassion and took care of me right away. Very grateful to be a patient at this dental office and plan to stay here for a long time.

Had a very pleasant appointmentn with my regular hygienist Ashton. I've been seeing Ashton regularly for a few years now and I'm very happy with his gentle and thorough ways. He is a true professional and I wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else for my dental cleaning and advice. He is always on time and keeps everyone on schedule. On vacation here in Kihei. A crown fell off a tooth. Contacted Hawaii Family Dental. "Em" are the front desk helped me to get an immediate appointment and processed my insurance. She was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jeffrey saw me the next day for my appointment. Exam taken, X-ray taken, and he re-cemented the crown. Everyone at this facility was extremely customer friendly, kind, and professional. The entire process was quick and easy. Thank you all.

Today was a big day fr me with an extraction with Dr Sterling! I was so scared and nervous but Dr Sterling was like my knight and shiny armor. He took all the pilikias and nervous feelings away by his his quiet confidence, strong character and very kind experienced mannerism. I was done in no time and didn't realize it was over. Wow thats what you call finesse! Bravo, Dr Sterling and Mahalo for all your team workers that made my day awesome! Great office location too, downtown old Restaurants Row!

Nina was super professional and very informative with good health and daily practices when it comes to dental health. I showed up on time and was able to check in quickly. Nina was able to get me to the dental chair and got to work. She would frequently ask if I was ok and gave me specific instructions in order to help her find the exact angles so she could continue. I'm very pleased with the entire dental office and the level of simplicity and professionalism.

Went in for a dental appointment of the 27 of Jan. at the Winward location and was greated with a friendly smile by Serena. Dr. Moon was on his “A” game as usual and his assistant (Kalia??) was very professional and courteous. The whole staff is always friendly. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Jennifer, hygienist, is wonderfully welcoming, presents herself professionally and is so very kind, thoughtful and funny ; -) I appreciate her so much. Selina, front desk, serves with aloha, is professional and welcoming, answers my questions with grace, I appreciate her too. I also appreciate Dr Moon, however, he rushed each time I see him. I’m not fond of the virtual reception sign in kiosk, but that’s just me, it’s not a welcoming way to receive patients. The woman who is virtual did say she’s from another country when I asked if she’s from here. I do not have 4 photos as post says

I really enjoyed having Dr.Chang as my doctor for my "TEETH" she's very funny and can go with the flow of having a fun personality. Looking forward to having her as my doctor for a life time. Oh, I forgot the other person is Tina (side kick "LOL") They both make a good, fun team. They greet you with a smile and small conversation then we laugh. Just like "Ohana" and yet we're not related. I've gone to doctors where they just do their thing no interaction. So serious. I think they call it bedside manner. "NO" Besides Tina, theirs Lifan my billing/collector$$. Very patient he explains the "Best" he can. You can call and he'll do his best to work things out. I really enjoy my time at the Dentist with these people! They All Deserve 5 *****'s each. Office personnel were all very friendly and my dentist Dr. Young did a great job of explaining the procedures and making sure I was comfortable.

I had a chipped tooth repaired before xmas and it fell off again. Dr Nichols and his staff did an amazing job putting it back. This place treats everyone like family. They are very professional and caring.

The dentist, nurse’s and staff have been outstanding these past three phase visits. They were very professional in every aspect of dentistry with the unique hospitality and cordial nature providing a welcoming experience. Love my hygentist.. Always great...Dentist great! deplored your new checkin procedure of checking in via monitor with shared head set!!! How gross and unsanitary...everyone using same headset!! hope you change procedure next time I have an appt. Had to use speakerphone and everyone in waiting room could hear conversation.

"Today I went to the dentist and Bluey was playing on the tv. I had to get fillings so they laid me in the burrito and I smelled grapes (nitrous oxide) lol. He did have to use the needle to make my mouth numb so it felt weird and tingly, but I didn’t cry. He was super fast, it didn’t hurt, and I got some toys when I was done" -My 6 yr old

Had to do a 3 teeth extraction. Dr Gene was very gentle and spoke / explained through out the whole process making sure I was ok. He made sure I didn’t feel a thing.He made me feel comfortable knowing I hated going to the dentist. mahalo Dr. Gene.

Once again, Hawaii Family Dental came through for me. Last night (Friday) I had a crown come loose and I was thinking I might have to wait till Monday to get it taken care of. My wife suggested I call the office to see if maybe they were open on a Saturday and they were! Dr. Thomas saw me this afternoon and was very friendly and professional. They took x-rays and examined me and the crown to make sure everything was OK. Everything looked great so they were able to just cement the crown back into place and I’m good to go. Highly recommend Hawaii Family Dental.

Cheryl is really good at what she does and makes me feel like part of the Hawaii dental family.She also explains well on what to do as far as flossing,kind of toothbrush need etc.keep up the excellent work

The service I received today was top tier! The staff treated me as if I was their only patient. My anxiety was high due to the procedure, but due to the staff being so incredibly kind, I was calm the entire time.

Update: 1/23/26. Spoke Mike today at central office over the phone. He went the extra mile to get me an appointment at the time I could come in. He was very pleasant and helpful. Really appreciate Dr. Moon and his team. Do a great job of caring for my teeth. I previously had a lot of challenges with a previous crown where my dentist wasn't able to anesthetize my teeth fully. Apparently I had a nerve anomaly? Extraordinarily painful experience. But when Dr. Moon did it, it went very smoothly, complete anesthesia, great healing, excellent service. Extremely happy to have changed over to them. Dental hygienist who does my regular cleaning is super sweet too.
