Dr. Lisa Le is a remarkable dentist whose passion for dental care knows no bounds. Dr. Le served in the U.S. Navy in Virginia, Japan, and Spain. While deployed, she earned numerous commendation medals for her exceptional work in providing quality care to those in need.

In 2020, after receiving an honorable discharge, Dr. Le returned to her hometown of Kansas City with a mission to provide much-needed dental services to underserved populations. Now practicing in Hilo, she is excited about the opportunity to continue making a difference by contributing to the health and well-being of the community.

Hawaii Family Dental are always super friendly, kind and helpful. I have had a lot of work done. This is the only dentist I’ve never experienced pain. They make sure you’re comfortable and pain free. They explain the best and least expensive methods and coverage. They are my permanent go to. If you have a low tolerance for pain, this is your answer.

I always have a wonderful experience at Hawaii Family Dental, Waiakea branch. This time I went in for a cleaning and Adam is always my preferred hygienist. He is awesome and so very professional. Everyone in that office makes you feel comfortable and treats you with respect. I highly recommend them as a place to go for your dental needs.

They're very kind, caring and really patient when it came to my younger child. We came from a dentist that traumatized my daughter and they didnt rush her through the appointment but spoke soft, explained what they were doing and waited till she was ready again. I'm so glad we found them.

Always greeted with a smile, at counter. I never wait longer then 15 minutes, again greeted with a smile and asking how am I doing. My doctor greets me and explains the plan. Explains again what he had done and our next step. Say good bye and again a great appointment.

These guys are great! Adam does the best cleanings I’ve ever had and Dr. Young provides thoughtful and effective care with the patients comfort in mind. The office staff is great too. I don’t often say nice things about people so you can take this to the bank! 🙂
