Lourdes at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Genesis was accommodating and she and Dr. Akioka went above and beyond to help us during our appointment, to provide us what we needed. Adam took us in unscheduled afterward for a cleaning with open arms. Wow, thank you all! We love this office!

Dr Akioka is very dedicated and kind, great traits in any profession. The problem lies in the tremendous need for this type of extraordinary service. And that Hawaii Family Dental is so busy, it is frustrating how long it takes to get an appointment. Their Prince Kuhio facility is state of the art. But I worry they are moving into too much cyber interface with patients, dehumanizing the experience. I understand their need for greater efficiency, but I don’t want to talk to a computer monitor, preferring more humanity.

Dr Akioka did an AMAZING job on my crown today. I'm very pleased with the care/service I received today. Everything was done with out any type of numbing and I was very comfortable & pain free throughout the whole process 🙌🏻 BIG MAHALO 🌺🤙🏻

Staff was wonderful. Got everything in order with my dental coverage and dental assistant s and dentist were very efficient and caring.

Every person here is pleasant, friendly and professional. Visits take way too long, either from understaffing or overbooking or both.

Clean facility, beautiful people working. Efficient and welcoming. Attendant was on it and the young doctor very capable Genuine people. From reception fight up to the Dr. I was treated well. Mahalo

Years ago we found Dr Peter Lee and we are sooo glad we did. All of my kids see him and he’s fast and efficient. He sees kids all day and there are crying kids, as there will be, but all the times we went in I have never EVER seen a single frustrated/aggravated/irritated body motion or word come from Dr. even while doing work and the kids are crying the words that come out is always so sweet and never ever sounds irritable! The best in town!

Best experience ever! I visited Hawaii Family Dental for a consultation for braces and they were able to put it on the same day. Every staff member encountered was a pleasure to work with! Super helpful, informative and patient. Highly recommended!
