Went to get my wisdoms removed by Dr.Lum and he did an amazing job. Weeks before the staff was very kind in soothing dental anxiety and prescribed something to help with anxiety during the appointment. Dr.Lum had all 3 wisdom teeth out within 15 minutes and the healing process went smoothly. Definitely recommend if you’re scared to get your wisdoms removed

From cleaning to X-rays Sabryna is so awesome with her cleaning and checking for any cancer lumps. She’s friendly and professional and she’s always there to make sure I’m comfortable. She’s also very patient in dealing with older patients and will stay with me and walk me to the next room slowly at my pace. They are all so friendly and helpful and even more now than in the past. Thank you HFDC for keeping me calm.

Once again Hawaii Family Dental took care of my dental needs by extracting a broken tooth. It was done smoothly quickly & painlessly despite ongoing Covid 19 issues in the area. On March 17, 2023 I had two damaged bottom teeth removed by Dr. Brendt-Alexander Lum. The procedure was done quickly and efficiently by this caring dentist and assistant. Once again I highly recommend Kona’s Hawaii Family Dental.

Dr. Lum and his assistant were awesome. From my first consultation to my actual procedure, they were up front on what to expect, clear and concise on making sure I understood the risks involved with having all four wisdom teeth removed. They expressed the challenges with removing them since I waited until my mid 30s to have them removed, but Dr. Lum was optimistic about it, and again, up front with what to expect. Being awake with local anesthetic was definitely an experience and the way they handled it made me comfortable once they started. A big thanks to Dr. Lum and his assistant!

Went in for tooth extraction, I hate all dentist they suck. This was the least painful experience I've ever been threw medically. I highly recommend Dr. Lum for extraction. Honestly the cold ac was more brutal than the teeth pulling. Bring a sweater. I did two teeth .

Jared does an awesome job and always makes my visits worthwhile. He does a great job and gives great tips on good oral hygiene at home. Hawaii Family Dental in Kapolei have such a hospital team illuminating that feel of ohana. Very clean and cozy. I definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Lum is Awesome, Daughter had her wisdom teeth bothering and were recommended Dr. Lum , not he was really friendly, knowledgeable but really fast, can't believe it, tooth extraction was a success with minimum pain after procedure, really happy to have my Loves ones to take care of at Hawaii Family Dental, highly recommended. The Stuff are nice too, i believe Sam is the name of his assistant which she is really aloha, really appreciate that, Mahalo for the great service.

Went in today for dental surgery- had to extract a tooth. Hunter helped to explain the process. Was very wary when I was told me they had to numb me with a needle because I hate needles. Dr. Lum and Po’okela were amazing - they made it to where I felt little to no discomfort. After the second poke the others I couldn’t feel at all. They talked while doing it and that small human interaction made all the difference. Definitely recommend for all dental needs can’t wait to come back next week.

My wife & I both had our wisdom teeth pulled recently by Dr. Lum. The whole experience from consult to surgery was extremely comfortable and informed. His bedside manner was wonderful. His assistant Hunter was also very kind and personable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone on the island!Our two daughters (2 & 4) also just saw Dr. Keeton. He made the visit so fun by singing songs, cracking jokes, letting them help count each other’s teeth, etc. It was a wonderful experience and we left the office with two confident and giggly little girls. He was great!

Haven't been to the dentist in years and my wisdom teeth were finally starting to bother me so I made an emergency appointment and they got me in right away!! They took some xrays and came to the conclusion to remove my wisdoms; had to wait for Friday as their oral surgeon is only there on Fridays. Dr.Lum (oral surgeon) was very nice and thorough told me my options in what we can do wether it was taking all my wisdoms or just the one that was affecting me. His assistant Hunter was very nice and sweet she made sure that I was good and comfortable!! The procedure was really fast they got three wisdoms in less than an hour!!

I had my wisdom teeth removed there recently by Dr. Lum and his assistant Alex. They were great and helped me get through it since I am scared of needles! Dr. Lum is very knowledgeable and gave me a thorough explanation and even gave me a follow-up call in the evening to check on me.

Dr. LUM Took very good care of my father. My dad was on a slow, painful journey of extractions, trying to get his dentures and smile back. His insurance would only cover a certain amount of extractions at a time. Dr. Lum took them all out. Took my father out of pain. And made it possible for my father to get his smile back early next year! He was understanding and compassionate with my dads tight budget and made it work for him. He's friendly, thorough, compassionate and really cares for his community and giving back. Thank you dr. Lum, from my family to yours. Aloha!DR.
