Dr. Utley, a native of Toledo, Ohio, currently serves as a commissioned officer in the Army Dental Corps. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan, and completed an Advanced Education of Prosthodontics Residency training program at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

With over 22 years of clinical experience, Dr. Utley is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to military beneficiaries in the United States and abroad. In addition to her service, she has taught as a clinical professor at multiple institutions, sharing her expertise with the next generation of dental professionals.

Guided by the “ohana spirit,” Dr. Utley offers evening and weekend hours to accommodate families with nontraditional schedules in our Kapolei dental office. As one of the few Board-Certified Prosthodontists in Hawaii, she welcomes patients of all needs, from straightforward cases to the most complex. Dr. Utley also treats patients medically diagnosed with mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnea using prescribed custom oral positioning devices (oral appliance therapy).
