I adore everyone in the clinic and all are amazing and friendly staff and hygienist, I always feels like I’m more family than a customer and a BIG shoutout to the BEST Orthodontist Dr. Daniel Shin for doing such a phenomenal job done.😀👍

I have horrible anxiety going to the dentist related to the sound of the drill, even just for cleanings. Today, I had to have three fillings and a crown replaced which took 3 hours. However, the dentist and the assistant were completely understanding when I needed a minute to regroup and then start again. With my phone playing music and my ear plugs in, I was comfortable in my own headspace and I could still follow directions. Now, regarding the bill. I found out that the dental insurance from my job had not been activated yet. This information was the thing that finally broke me; I had a complete emotional melt down right there in the office. The 2 young ladies that assisted me, helped in figuring out a payment plan using their discount program for low income patients.Thank you Dr. Alcantra, Jahveen, and all the front office staff at Hawaii Family Dental in Ewa Beach!

I received excellent care from considerate, friendly staff. Albeit I was a little sore later I was glad I changed dentist and started getting care here.

Great dental office. very clean and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful. Answered all my questions and explained what they were doing to put me at ease. Everyone was friendly. My temporary crown cracked and I was able to get an appointment as soon as I walked in. The staff all showed compassion and took care of me right away. Very grateful to be a patient at this dental office and plan to stay here for a long time.

The staff and Dr. Meredith made me feel comfortable during my visit on 1/22/26. They took the time to clearly explain and summarize what was going to be done.

I was able to put money on the cost for dental work so I can stay ahead of my budget during the government shutdown. My dental health is an important factor during these difficult times. Dr. Kang performed my root canal today. Since I'm currently pregnant I could not get the usual anesthesia but Dr.Kang still made every effort to ensure that I was as comfortable as possible during the procedure and I barely felt a thing. The staff at this facility in general are phenomenal 👏 everyone is so nice and polite. 10/10 recommend for all your dental needs

My appointment was at 8am, but the doors didn’t open until 8am, so technically my appointment became 8:15am. However, they get you in and out within 1 hour of your scheduled time. The hygienist I had today, Ron, was great. She was pleasant as well as very good at what she does.
