Very friendly staff. Dentists have all provided excellent care. I appreciate how Dr. Lee and Dr. Stone take care to explain procedures and answer questions. Only word of caution is regarding scheduling. If you have a multi-appointment procedure, make sure the appointments are all set up from the beginning. The office staff fails to do that and you will likely have to wait a couple of months between appointments. This can unnecessarily prolong your treatment time by many months.

Dr. Stone is an excellent periodontist. I was referred to him to evaluate problems with my implant. Dr. Stone did a thorough evaluation of the condition of my implant and provided a detailed explanation of the issue and recommendations to correct the problem. I followed everything to the “T” and went back to see him on Wednesday and my condition has been corrected. I appreciate Dr. Stone’s care, expertise and thorough plan to help correct my problem. I recommend Dr. Stone to anyone looking for an excellent Periodontist!

Dr. Stone ROCKS! He is only there occasionally for periodontal cases but what a great guy. He worked hard on extracting my cracked tooth. Next day virtually no pain or swelling. Amazing. And the front desk staff could not have been any nicer Last time I wasn’t impressed. This time, five stars beginning to end. Mahalo guys. Keep it up.

The friendliness, patience, listening skills, and overall care are consistently excellent ~ from the receptionists to hygienists, and the two doctors I’ve interacted with - Dr. Thomas and Dr. Stone. I appreciate them all, and feel reassured as I gradually resolve a variety dental needs.

I would have given 5 stars, but I had to wait about 20 minutes since the previous patient ran over. Nevertheless, Dr. Stone and his assistant are #1 in my book!

Hawaii Family Dental is the BEST! Particularly the Waikea Villas branch. They've taken such great care of me these past few months. They are filled with wonderful and skilled staff members. From the front desk; Adam, Craig and Dawn were always freindly, on it, and helpful with scheduling or canceling an appointment with me. Then there were two hygienists that I've met, Alena and Maria who were also very knowledgeable and patient when it came to care or cleaning. Lastly, Dr. Young and Dr. Stone, both highly skilled and professional, its too unfortunate that they can only provide service once every other month. Dr,Stone, the oral surgeon that worked on me was kind, considerate and explained everything step of my extractions. I was amazed that I felt no pain throughout the procedure and that there was no damage to the gums that would have required sutures.
The medication advised has continued to keep me pain free throughout the healing process. I am in Gratitude 🙏

Dr. Stone has impeccable "Dental chair" manners. He is patient and kind as well as very reassuring. He understood my discomfort pending the dental surgery. He calmly explained every step as he proceeded with the procedure. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns satisfactorily. Post pricedure, he gave me detailed parting instructions to follow, which have helped speed up my recovery. His demeanor is worthy of emulation and I would highly recommend him to other patients. He has proven to be an asset to this dental clinic and commend him for his professionalism and sterling qualities.

When I got there it was nothing but kind and friendly staff that was very through. Did things my last dentist didn't do, like get rid of teeth stones, explained co payments after insurance, set up future works that need to be done and estimates. Made me feel worth their time. I was seen by Dr. Lena and she was really awesome!
