“I worked in a trauma center and saw patients with significant facial injuries. Being able to give them the confidence to smile and eat their favorite foods comfortably again was deeply gratifying.

In addition to removing wisdom teeth and teeth that cannot be saved, as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Sterling also specializes in implant placement, bone grafting, and other reconstructive procedures.

Outside the office, Dr. Sterling enjoys surfing, skiing, backcountry hiking, playing the piano, and spending time with his wife and infant daughter.

Just had an extraction done this morning. Dr Sterling and the office staff were kind, understanding, and very efficient. Extraction went smoothly with minimal bleeding and post operation recovery pain is 2 out of 10 compared to what I experienced from the toothache I suffered for 3 weeks before I finally made an appointment. I highly recommend Hawaii Family Dental in Honolulu.

Staff are friendly, patient and helpful!Dr Sterling was able to complete a procedure as time permitted, rather than scheduling another appointment, prolonging the pain. That was very appreciated!

Today was a big day fr me with an extraction with Dr Sterling! I was so scared and nervous but Dr Sterling was like my knight and shiny armor. He took all the pilikias and nervous feelings away by his his quiet confidence, strong character and very kind experienced mannerism. I was done in no time and didn't realize it was over. Wow thats what you call finesse! Bravo, Dr Sterling and Mahalo for all your team workers that made my day awesome! Great office location too, downtown old Restaurants Row!

The staff were very attentive and kind with the check in process. The dental assistant was courteous and professional. My consultation with Dr. Sterling went smoothly. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in a timely manner. The most important thing for me was that it didn’t take long because I had another engagement. My visit was a 5 star all the way around.

Dr. Stone has impeccable "Dental chair" manners. He is patient and kind as well as very reassuring. He understood my discomfort pending the dental surgery. He calmly explained every step as he proceeded with the procedure. He answered my questions and addressed my concerns satisfactorily. Post pricedure, he gave me detailed parting instructions to follow, which have helped speed up my recovery. His demeanor is worthy of emulation and I would highly recommend him to other patients. He has proven to be an asset to this dental clinic and commend him for his professionalism and sterling qualities.

Staff was very friendly and compassionate. They knew i was nervous and kept making sure i was okay to proceed. It was very fast and my pain was pretty bad at first but is now very minor the day after procedure. Great staff! I highly recommend Dr. Sterling and the team at Ewa Beach location!

All the staff are super friendly, very professional environment, and I like that they all explain to you and make sure you understand every detail thats going to be done and what to expect for your treatment. Dr. Brett Sterling was very good, I had tooth extraction and he did it with my comfort in mind. I like that he doesnt force his way through, any discomfort or pain he stops right away and adjusts. Every single step he explains to you what he is doing and is very engage. Overall experience was superfast and barely felt anything! Thank you!
