    Dr. Collyer Young was born and raised on Oahu and graduated from Iolani School. He attended the University of Hawaii Manoa and Whittier College, before graduating from the University of Southern California’s dental school.

    Dr. Young's exceptional patient care has earned him multiple "Best Dentists" awards by Honolulu Magazine over the years. He takes great pride in comfort-conscious dentistry and strives to make each patient's experience as stress-free as possible.

    Definitely the best dentist office in all of Hawaii! Probably the best dentist office on the whole West Coast.. maybe the whole country? I had a broken tooth emergency and these guys got me in took care of it and were nice and kind about all of it! I could not possibly recommend them more.. I'd give him 10 Stars if I could!

    I've been a patient in this practice for over 10 years, and drive nearly an hour each way despite having closer offices i could go to. I do this because you consistently have caring and very capable staff members. Over those years I have recommended many other people and I do so with confidence. For several years now I've seen Adam for cleaning and he is outstanding. He ia very thorough, very capable and a pleasure to work with.

    Adam made my dental visit so much fun! He’s friendly, energetic, and clearly loves what he does. I already enjoy going to the dentist, but he made the experience even better. Highly recommend Adam and this dental office!

    Dr.Collyer Young and his staff at Waiakea Villas Hawaii Family Dental are so professional and caring. Dr.Young listened to me and respected, and even went along with, one of my suggestions for the treatment of my teeth. I'm so pleased he takes Delta dental insurance, offered by United Healthcare.

    My experience was positive. I had not been to a dentist for over 10 years. The staff all all kind, gentle, professional, and often laughter and joking with me and each other, which I find comforting. I also liked watching wildlife movie while waiting, put everything in perspective haha💚

    It is always a great experience getting my teeth cleaned by Adam. He is very considerate, gentle and knowledgeable. I always leave with a smile.     I am so grateful for the amazing care I received here at Hawaii Family Dental. A huge shoutout to Adam who did my cleaning! He was the MOST caring, gentle and extremely funny hygienist I’ve ever met. He made sure I was comfortable which I truly appreciated because of my fear of getting any dental work done. Never thought I would say this but I look forward to my next appointment!

    I'm not exagerating when I say I thoroghly enjoyed having my teeth cleaned by hygienist Adam Z. He is upbeat and genuinely caring, gentle, knowlegable, explains what he's doing and why, and discuss how I can best care for my dental health. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hawaii Family Dental.

    I give HFD a 10 out of 5 stars!Dr Sherri Chong is a rock star! She’s so smart, and kind. I feel very heard and well taken care of. And my teeth are looking so much better!!! I’m so thankful for all the kind staff! They even bring me a blanket when I’m chilly haha.Mahalo nui for all you do 🙂
