That ortho hygienist seems to really care about his quality of work give him a raise

Had another appointment today and got a tooth extracted. I was half an hour LATE because I thought my time was 9:30 but it was actually 9am. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thankfully they were able to get me in. I Had to bring my kiddos along which was surprisingly easy. Tana-Lei was the dental assistant (ortho usually)but like I told her SHE’S TOP TIER! Mahalo Tana-lei(unless she said HANAlei(I’m so sorry!)The procedure was quick and I was out in no time. Found out Dr. Ngroni is LEAVING!!😫😫😫soo sad because he is so AMAZING to have as a dentist. I hope wherever he goes he is treated great! HFD PLEASE FIND MORE LIKE HIM!Overall 10/10 still recommend.Mahalo!

Today Was Probably My Best Experience I’ve Had Since I’ve Been Going To That Facility All Because Of Dental Assistant Helena. My Doctor Had Made Up A Plan To Get Several Of My Tooth Saved Because Beat Up And Had Holes. The Plan Was To Do Some Extensive Deep Cleaning On Those Tooth And Be Reevaluated To See If They Could Continue With The Plan Of Placing Crowns. Helena Informed Me Today That It’s Been About 2 years That I’ve Done Any Type Of Work On My Teeth Doctors Recheck The X-Rays and The Can Start The Plan. Helena Broke It Down On How I Can Get Things Rolling With My Dental Coverage And How Long It Would Take To Get The Plan Completed. I Was Actually Getting Frustrated From Series Of Deep Cleaning Without Discussing The Plan, But Helena Was The One That Reached Out And Overlooked My Archieves And Shined Some Light On It Mahalo and Aloha Helena!

I adore everyone in the clinic and all are amazing and friendly staff and hygienist, I always feels like I’m more family than a customer and a BIG shoutout to the BEST Orthodontist Dr. Daniel Shin for doing such a phenomenal job done.😀👍

From the first dental visit of their life, as a toddler, or all the way to being being a teen getting dentist and orthodontist... my kids have always felt comfortable and respected. They frequently ask when they get to go to their next appointment. I'm sure it sounds like a commercial. I had a lot of stress about finding a good dentist, because of nightmare stories my friend's kids experienced. There was no stress or concerns of that at Hawaii Family Dental in Kona. I got to stay with my children, while a Disney movie of their choice was playing, and I got to make glove balloon animals while they were getting their teeth done.... and leave them to cheer up other kids. Can't recommend them enough. My kids will be sad when they have to switch to adult dental. They will miss all her jokes and the ways she makes them giggle and accidently splash her... good thing she wears goggles and protective apron. 🤣
