And i had many treatments under her care . She approaches each procedure with micro-precision attention, ensuring the treatment patient gets is done properly rather than simply completed quickly. That dedication is increasingly rare in Hawaii and deserves recognition.One good example from my own experience: After my braces were recently removed, I was still struggling with leftover orthodontic cement on several teeth. During my visit i menthioned this , Dr. Taira immediately recognized my discomfort as a patient. Instead of asking me to schedule another appointment or directing me back to the orthodontic department, she personally took the time to carefully polish away the remaining cement herself. She certainly could have referred me elsewhere, but she chose to help in that very moment. To me, that is the mark of a true doctor. It wasn't simply about treating teeth. It was about seeing a patient's concern, taking ownership, and making sure I left the office cared for. That genuine compassion and willingness to go beyond what was expected left a lasting impression on me.Her kindness, her talent, and unwavering commitment to her patients have helped preserve not only my smile, but also my confidence in seeking dental care. Love the care and service, however available appointments are scarce and the Maui office would greatly benefit from having a full time orthodontic staff

The dentist and the dental assistant/dental hygienist were so amazing it was so quick and easy especially because my 2 year old HATES brushing his teeth or anyone touching his teeth. The wait was way too long though. I waited almost 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time

The team seen me right as I came in for my ortho appointment. I got my braces tightened and was handled with care.

This is the best dentist office I’ve ever had the privilege of going to. Everyone here cares from the ladies at the front, the best hygienist, Dr. Moon to the orthodontist staff. Thank you for caring for my family.

Had another appointment today and got a tooth extracted. I was half an hour LATE because I thought my time was 9:30 but it was actually 9am. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Thankfully they were able to get me in. I Had to bring my kiddos along which was surprisingly easy. Tana-Lei was the dental assistant (ortho usually)but like I told her SHE’S TOP TIER! Mahalo Tana-lei(unless she said HANAlei(I’m so sorry!)The procedure was quick and I was out in no time. Found out Dr. Ngroni is LEAVING!!😫😫😫soo sad because he is so AMAZING to have as a dentist. I hope wherever he goes he is treated great! HFD PLEASE FIND MORE LIKE HIM!Overall 10/10 still recommend.Mahalo!
