Very good dental care with Dr Rob and his assistant Mitch. Very friendly staffs from the reception staffs, the hygienist and the dentist.

Went in for my 6 month cleaning with hygienist Mandy.She’s great, very gentle & thorough. She is always at the top of her game.

My 8 year old daughter recently went in to see if she was could get invisalign with orthodontist Dr. Daniel Shin. He recommended we check in again in one year when more of her adult teeth come in.I appreciated his honesty and his clear, detailed explanations using digital x-rays. Also, my appointment started on-time, the lobby was clean, and not crowded. We'll be back in one year!

I don’t ever write reviews but Mandy is great! I hope she sticks around. She is my 3rd hygienist since I’ve been going there. I appreciate she’s telling me what’s going on and informs me what to do with certain things to help better care for my teeth. And the ladies in the front are very polite. Thank you Mandy and the rest of the staff!

The staff and dentist at Hawaii Family Dental were absolutely amazing! My situation was quite unusual. I was on an early flight from LA to the island when I noticed my veneer was extremely loose. During the flight, I was in touch with my best friend, and he began calling local dentists to see if anyone could fit me in and assist with my unique problem.After numerous calls and disappointments, my friend miraculously secured me an appointment immediately after I landed. From the very first call, through interactions with the front desk staff, and of course, with the dentist and his assistant, everyone was exceptionally helpful, friendly, patient, and kind.The dentist skillfully removed the veneer without any damage, performed some cleanup on my tooth and the veneer, and expertly re-cemented it back into place.This experience truly saved my vacation! It wasn't the way I intended to start my trip, but I was incredibly fortunate that my friend found this outstanding dental office that went above and beyond to take care of me.I can't recommend them enough—these folks are true heroes, and not all heroes wear capes!

PRO: It is conveniently located near our home. Clean and up kept facility and surrounding area. Staff is kind and professional. CON: It takes weeks to get an appointment if you have something urgent or need the dentist to look at something. My tooth chipped and first available appointment was 3 weeks out. Another situation, our son got into an accident where his front teeth were impacted. First available was also 3 weeks out. I explained that he needed to be seen and that I felt we weren't getting the care we needed. The receptionist finally gave in and found a spot for us to go in the next day. I am contemplating going back to our previous office because of this. We used to be able to get a same day or soonest availability when unplanned things happen.
