Great customer service! Very friendly and professional. Dr Matsumoto have gentle hands that’s why my fear on dentists disappeared. Had many dental works done in the past before Dr Matsumoto, and they have heavy and rough hands that made the procedure very painful. Great place to go to get dental works for sure!!! Mahalo for all the staffs for making me feel welcome and detailed oriented.

My cleaning was so gentle, but thoroughly done! Kudos Erwin!!!I also had to have a tooth extracted, I freaked out over nothing! Before I knew it the procedure was over very little pain!You guys rock 🦷🦷🦷🦷🦷

Today's visit was seamless. 9am on a Saturday morning. The young lady greeted and assisted me as I walked in. She provided clear instructions and answered my question. Vinny, Dental Hygienist, is great! Makes you feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the process. He also provides great tips to care for your teeth and overall for your whole well-being. My point of view is, marvelous guest experience. They showed me they care about me and my time. Thank you!

From the front office to the dental assistant to the doctor himself, everyone performed fantastic. I felt right at home. Very comfortable and knew that I was being taken care of by utmost professionals. The doctor's bedside Manor was fantastic. He was confident and made me feel comfortable. It was the most pleasant dental experience I've had in my lifetime since I am normally afraid of dentists.

I have been looking for a new dentist on Maui and glad I found them, so impressed! My dentist was very thorough, explained my xrays and I'm all good until my next cleaning. The cleaning was the best experience I've had!! Vinny took care of me and was so gentle. I didn't know cleanings could be quick and comfortable. They always do a great job with my son. He had a really bad experience with another dentist & never wanted to go to the dentist ever again. But after his first appointment with Hawaii Family Dental, he no longer hates going to the dentist. I mean he doesn’t love it but now he doesn’t fight it.

Hawai’i Family Dental is the best, from the time you check in till your appointment everyone is kind, caring and professional.Dr. Matsumoto is a great dentist, kind and compassionate. He replaced several crowns for me.My Dental Technician is Nancy she is the very best! She’s excellent, I have used her for years.I can’t imagine going anywhere else I’m very happy with all their services.

My cleaning with Daison is always great! He's gentle when he's working and I appreciate that my appointments are pain-free! We laugh between rinsing and talk about travel.I recommend Daison as your dental hygienist. I didn't get to see Dr. Brian as scheduled because he was busy with another patient. I'll get to see him on my next visit.Convenient location in the Kaahumanu Shopping Center. The staff is wonderful to work with as well!

Just started with this dental group and through the initial X-rays and cleaning, and then a significant cavity fill, I would say their service is exceptional. *Super* friendly staff and assistants, and the dentist has been very communicative and helpful, the procedures completed without any discomfort. A+ all around.

Extraction was done so quickly and pain free! I couldn’t believe he was done so fast. Recovery also went smoothly with no complications. I would highly recommend !!

They were wonderful. Made me feel comfortable when I was super nervous. I don’t like the dentist especially when I need to pull out a broken tooth, and more so once the drill goes on. Nurse reminded me to breathe while I was holding my breath hoping doc would hurry up. Went over after care procedure. Will be back again!

I am so pleased my daughter in law referred me here I recommend it to anyone looking for a change. Tired of fixing those fillings that always seems to be coming out, being put down and lacking that feeling of trust/satisfaction. The staff here is friendly and willing to address all of your concerns from the clerk to the dental assistant to the doctor. They are also very quick to get you scheduled with an appointment. The environment is very positive not to mention state of the art instruments( i.e. x-ray )technology ... dentistry at it's best!
