Dr. Irene Chang is passionate about helping her patients maintain their oral health so they can enjoy healthy lives for years to come. She practices evidence-based dentistry with a holistic approach, which takes into account the overall well-being of her patients.

A graduate of the University of the Pacific, San Francisco, Dr. Chang completed her postdoctoral program by providing preventative and restorative dental care with Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive. She is fluent in Mandarin and is accepting a limited number of new patients.

Went in for routine cleaning for the first time with Sarah and she was AMAZING! I ain't feel a thing! She was so gentle, extremely informative, considerate, attentive, and friendly! The staff and doctors were very nice and made me feel very welcome, I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while and I always hated the dentist but I felt very cared for and actually enjoyed my time there even if they were drilling into my teeth.

Fantastic dental care! The virtual check-in is very different but pretty neat and efficient! This was my first appointment and dental assistant Lexus and dental hygienist Sarah made me feel very welcomed and at ease. They explained every step of each procedure so there’s no confusion or surprises. Dr Lee is also very nice and professional!I will always miss my former longtime dental family but relieved to have a new dental family who will continue to take care of my aging teeth!

Hawaii family dental does an amazing job making you feel comfortable under care and informed about your dental hygiene. I have never been to a dentist where the staff was so knowledgeable and cared so much about sharing their passions with customers. Sarah was my dental hygienist who did my cleaning and fluoride treatment today. I would highly recommend the level of service I received to anyone on the hunt for a dental office. My hygienist listened to all my concerns and asked the doctor my questions on my behalf. I felt heard and not condemned. As the appointment progressed, I was able to release the tension in my body and just chill. She made sure that the cleaning was as painless as possible (and it was, which is a first for me).

Dr. Coloma is the best dentist i have ever met. He's very professional,friendly and approachable. He wants everything to be perfect and that's what i like in him. From my prophylaxis, tooth extraction, and my partial denture, it was an awesome experience. Apple is very knowledgeable and she explains the after care briefly,they will make you feel comfortable and at home. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I’ve been with Hawaii Family Dental for several years. Each visit was excellent The staff communication, dental hygienist, especially Lorraine, very professional and so sweet and caring. That’s what I appreciate when I go. No one really enjoys going to the dentist but the staff, dental hygienist and dentist makes you feel so comfortable.
