Very good experience with the team and the attending Dr. Yan,she was quick and had a pleasant experience with the situation at hand.

Dr. Yan, hygienist and staff were excellent, on time and efficient. Wonderful sense of humor makes for a less painful extraction.mahalo

They fit me for a partial and full denture.Very fast and professionalHOWEVER..Things drastically changed on my 2nd fitting appointment😡I and my husband was accused of making changes to my dentures at home. By my dentist! He said the pallet part looks different.On my first fitting recheck last week, I asked him to help stop the pain in my pallet and my back inside bite area. He did some fixing in another room. I went home and the problems still existed.So I came in with pictures of the redness and areas that hurt. With extensive notes.I asked for my dentures to be fixed because they hurt my upper pallet and my gum line. This was my 2nd fitting.Dr. accused me of making alterations and I told him not I nor my husband would ever even know how to do that.How rude!He is the only person trying to alter my dentures. I see every mark he has made!He looked at me sideways as if in disbelief.I have never been so insulted in all my life.I paid over $3,000 for these teeth and I have no dental coverage. Therefore paying that much moneyand waiting that long to eat like a normal person was very hard for me. I am 60 and a disabled grandmother of 28. This is upsetting to even be accused of trying to fix my own dentures!I had to wait 6 months for my dentures to come in. I am a teacher and a singer and I had to do these occupations with no teeth.I most certainly will be thinking twice before setting foot in Dr. Apallas dentist chair again.The staff all are the best.They are honest and kind and helpful.😇But Dr. Apalla has crossed the line of professionalism, sadly.I am insulted as a born again Christian, I am infuriated as an honest law abiding citizen.I am shook beyond belief at the trust I had in this Dentist helping me being totally destroyed and dismissed.E akahele oukou.Aole maikai keika kauka niho.Ua hoopunipuni oia.Ua imi hana oia iau.Eha kou naau.Aloha 😥UPDATE 1/27/26The sad update. Dr. Apalla told his assistant to throw away my molds. When I went back complaining how sore my gums were I was told he no longer worked there. And there's no molds to go by. I paid so much money just to be told oops so sorry.We gatta make new ones. Now it's 2026.My 2 years are up in 5 months yet they refused to fix my dentures because no molds to refer to. Not my fault! It's obviously Dr. Apallas because he accused me and my husband of tampering then he had the proof of the actual mold thrown away. To cover his tracks. Now he's gone and Im out $3000+.SO UPDATE:DR. YANAN ANGEL. HONEST. PROFESSIONAL.Someone GAVE her another mold of the upper dentures and she put it in my mouth and it felt wrong.SHE SAID THIS IS NOT TRACY'S. She's on my side! Thankyou Jesus!WHY was someone else's put in my mouth? Was mine put in their mouth?Then SHE GOT MINE SOMEHOW AND IT FIT.SO IM GONNA GET NEW UPPER FULL DENTURES AND THEN SEE A SPECIALIST to figure out what's best for my partial lower. Because what I had with Dr. Apollo was excruciating.So I love the Dr. Now. The crew is professional and I will update bambai. Aloha.

I went in for a cleaning an exam because I haven’t been back since 2019. The check in office was very fast and easy. I had Dr.Yan and her assistant Irene, They made the atmosphere so very comfortable and safe. She help me go over a step by step plan for cleaning, extracting and gettting braces.i can tell she’s very experienced and loved what she’s doing. Dr Yan is very inspiring and supportive in our conversation about start up businesses.

Dr.Antolin Apalla is a really good Dr. He does what would be best & informs you on every detail. VERY knowledgeable and funny too. Happy I have a great Dr. Jayson Bryan & Francine is wonderful w/ a happy and delightful smile & attitude. Great team, friendly & extremely knowledgeable. Great assets to Hawaii Family Dental. A well deserved thank you to all 3.
