Dr. Jeffrey Thomas
Dr. Jeffery Thomas has served patients with his compassionate, gentle approach for over 25 years as a Kihei dentist. He feels fortunate to consider his colleagues his family and his long-time patients his friends. As a young person he experienced first-hand the positive affect of high-quality dental care, and was motivated to pursue a career in dentistry. Prior to joining the Hawaii Family Dental – Kihei team, he earned his DMD from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
In 2015, Dr. Thomas was recognized as one of Honolulu Magazine’s Best Dentists, lauded for his restorative techniques that protect natural teeth and last for many years. “I don’t just take care of teeth,” says Dr. Thomas, “I take care of patients.” Outside of the practice, Dr. Thomas cherishes time spent with his family, including daughters Elizabeth and Faith. In addition to spending time staying active outdoors, Dr. Thomas has written a book on stress management and produced a short film titled “Trade Winds.

Well, we're dealing with the day Dr Thomas worked on my lower implant and that was excellent. However, this afternoon (Thursday), that implant broke on the other side--the back left molar--and I am in need of immediate relief because a jagged edge is cutting my tongue!

Received exceptional care from Receptionist Rayna, Kaylee, Dental Hygienist, Dr Thomas & May. A very positive experience with EXCELLENT Staff providing professional, caring & effective treatment. Had a front tooth filling from 10 yrs. before, break & drop out. Dr. Thomas immediately checked it, asked some very pertinent questions & offered options for repair. WHAT EFFICIENCY!!!. Took care of scheduling with May, who clearly explained my choices & professionally responded to my questions. On the way out, Rayna informed me she had me on the schedule for the tooth crown.

Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist’s office. Everyone was so nice and welcoming from the front desk to the billing and the hygienist to the dentist. Dr. Thomas and the hygienist (I didn’t catch her name) were both super gentle and very thorough when explaining the procedures and the reasoning behind their work. I’m very impressed and have never felt this good coming out of a dental appointment. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I can’t wait to go back!

Hawaii Family Dental is a wonderful practice. Dr. Thomas and Kailey, the hygienist who takes care of me, are both highly professional and warm and friendly people. The reception staff is welcoming and helpful. It’s an outstanding dental practice.

Dr Jeffrey Thomas is the very BEST Dentist in Hawaii. Experienced very many unethical, dishonest Dentists before finding him. Only 5 minute wait and appointment time. Waiting room was comfortable with music playing. All fees and services were explained before dental work including insurance coverage. Kailey is the thorough, professional, and likable hygienist. Dr. Thomas spent a few minutes discussing the exam results and whether follow up was needed.

Dr Thomas is fantastic. I have had problems my last two visits at front desk concerning my bill. Each time my payment rose over 500 from my balance due. This time Bobbi adjusted my payment due down to what I was expecting

Dr. Thomas is a master at his craft, no reason to fear getting cavities filled!!! I barely felt the injection and the drilling was done so fast ! Everything done so precise and a perfect experience every time and I’ve had several fillings through the years. The staff is friendly and polite and they even have great payment options! Obviously recommended!

I love getting my teeth cleaned by Kailee! I've never had such a good cleaning in my entire life! She is so patient, gentle, and meticulous! I know I'm safe in her hands! Dr. Thomas,DDS is great too! Thanks to Kailee's great cleaning I don't need his services very often!
