Dr Coloma and Lorraine are the best!

Let's start off with the names, Front office Christina and Ruth, very welcoming, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They made myself and husband feel so at ease and not fearful to see the dentist. We're new patients for their office. Office is very clean in a very nice area in Aiea lots of "free" parking, which is hard to come by in Hawaii nei. Then we get called to start our visit, Joanie, Joanie, Joanie, such a sweetheart, very patient with us and all my questions. Having her prep us for Dr Alfredo Coloma, down to earth, humble, handsome man(don't tell my husband, lol), Joanie is efficient, professional, easy to talk to and paid attention to our needs and my questions for both my husband and I, care with them. Dr Coloma, actually sat with both my husband and I, inspecting our teeth, yall know there are those dental/doctor office that will have dental assistant, hygienist, technician do all the work and then show up, not touch you, say a few words and leave, NOT DR ALFREDO COLOMA, he took the time to talk to us, met our needs and didn't look down on us. I was really ready to hear him scold me about not taking good care of my teeth, instead he educated me on what needed to be done. Such a humble, down to earth doctor. I'm sure just like everyone reading this, you've come across many different type of ppl, business's, issues etc but for me and my family, as long as Hawaii Family Dental, specifically Dr Coloma and his team will have us, we will keep going to them. Let's talk payment and insurance because that's basically the bottom line for all of us. We need to take care of ourselves and insurance companies make it hard for us to live and care for ourselves. This is where Christina from front office after the visit, comes in with her comfort, knowledge and expertise. She explains options you could choose from to help you in your situation before setting your appointment. They accommodate you accordingly to your needs and work with you. I'm sure the rest of the group in there are the same but my husband and I are very humble, grateful, appreciative and blessed to have them in our lives. If we could give them all the good things of this world, we would definitely do it but all we can offer, is prayers for them and theirs, to prosper in all areas of life, longevity with good health plus blessings in everything they touch and every step they take. Dr. Alfredo Coloma is the best. I fell asleep during my procedure and he didn’t mind haha. Glad I made the switch over to this location.

This is my new Comment for my issue to my tooth pain. Dr. Coloma was very knowledgeable on how to treat my issue. I also want to give a Commendation to the team that assisted me. Her name is Apple, she was very patient, professional and very welcoming on all my questions and help me ease my fear in the process of what was done to my tooth.

Dr Coloma and his dental assistant were very thorough in explaining the options for crown replacement ( porcelain over porcelain vs Porcelain over gold). .. and very thorough and careful in implementing the procedure. Thanks 🙏

Dr. Coloma explained my options about my wisdom tooth, and suggested an extraction due to no opposing tooth to functionally be of use. It was not painfree, but he gave warning of what to expect. It was not pleasant, but easily manageable. I feel he did a great job and hopefully will heal well.

My Hygienist Sarah is awesome walking me step by step through the process of the procedure I’m doing at each appt. Dr. Coloma is great as well. The front of the House Staff hold this Pearlridge location together.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr Coloma re-cemented and adjusted my 10 year old crown that was made at another dental office.This is the first time that my bite feels normal and I can now chew on both sides. I'm very happy with the result! Thank you, Dr. Coloma!

Dr. Coloma is the best dentist i have ever met. He's very professional,friendly and approachable. He wants everything to be perfect and that's what i like in him. From my prophylaxis, tooth extraction, and my partial denture, it was an awesome experience. Family Dental Center at Westridge Aiea has been my dentist since about 1990. Very professional staff, dentists and hygienists. Yesterday I received a replacement gold crown for one that was about fifty year’s old. Dr Coloma and his assistant Kelly were a very efficient team that fitted the new crown and I was out of the chair in under 30 minutes. It fits perfect. Here are two photos of the casting for the crown with the temporary crown in place. I highly recommend this dental office.

HAWAII Family Dental in AIEA has been my go to dental. I’ve been to other locations, but the staff at Aiea and Dr. Coloma and the hygienist always been there for me. They’re very friendly, patient, and they’ll make you fell at home. It’s been years, I’ve always come back to this location. The best!!!
