One of her most memorable moments was helping a 7-year old boy, who had a traumatic dental experience before, overcome his fear of the dentist. “Using laughter, jokes, and a little bit of magic, he allowed me to take his x-rays. He needed extensive dental care which required multiple appointments. After his last appointment, he told his mother and myself “Going to the dentist isn’t so bad, I like coming here now. His mother, who also had dental anxiety, was in tears of joy.”
