My experiences with Hawaii Family Dental Centers has been uniformly positive! Staff are friendly and gracious, and my dentist, Dr. DeDecker is a pleasure to interact with. My treatment today was completely painless (crown prep) and I appreciated Dr. D explaining all the steps involved. Bernie (dental assistant) is super as well. She's a caring individual and it shows. Last, but certainly not least, is Jeff, our Dental Hygienist. My wife and I agree that he is very best! He is very gentle and thorough. I’d totally recommend this center and it’s staff to anyone needing dental care.

Nina is my hygienist and she is absolutely amazing. She cares about you and always makes sure you don’t have any pain. I will be recommending her and the dental office to everyone I know. It's never pleasant to go to the dentist but the staff at Hawaii Family Dental almost made it so. The front desk workers were pleasant and efficient. Dr. DeDecker obviously had patients waiting but he wasn't rushed with me, making sure my questions were answered. He was gentle and kind. Nina was so upbeat and did a good job cleaning my teeth. I'll enjoy seeing her again in six months!

After 30 years with my Dentist on another island, I got Medicare and searched for a Dentist on Hawaii Island. Mahalo United Healthcare who helped me find Hawaii Family Dental at Prince Kuhio. Dr. Troy DeDecker did my initial exam, awesome xrays, teeth diagnosis, scheduled my one filling within days. My filling appointment went well, no pain, filled tooth and on my way. His assistantʻs name is Malia or Melia and she is very kind. I will return.
