Recently moved to Maui and selected HFD for my new dentist. I was very pleased with the attention to detail, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff I encountered. A big THANKS to Daison, hygienist, who fixed a tooth surface that needed fixing! Will recommend to anyone looking for a dental practice.

Honestly, this was the best dentist appointment I have had in awhile. My hygienist, Edwin, has been absolutely tireless in helping me to improve my dental health and it is paying off. I definitely feel I am in good hands under his care.

Very friendly an helpful staff. The dentist is gentle, patient,& gets them in an out of the chair quickly. All 3 of children go there and they always have a good experience.

I broke a tooth while on my Maui vacation . They got me an appointment in under 24 hours. I wasn’t in pain so the slight delay wasn’t so bad. My insurance was accepted. Lena was my DDS and I wish I could have her at home. She was personable, professional and caring. I was in for only 30 minutes for a temporary fix. She knew I was leaving in a few days and suggested I make an appointment with my regular dentist. I left happy to have found the practice and especially Lena.

They are very patient and kind to the children. I love that parents get to go inside and wait. It’s all open space so nothing hidden or secretive. They understand that kids get scared when they don’t see their parents so I think it’s the best idea. The staff were all friendly and my kids loved it here.

Dr Simon had so much patience with my son. Answered all my questions and concerns. Front staff, dental assistants were very nice and welcoming.

I had a tiny chip on a bottom front tooth repaired. The Dr was able to perform the repair without having to numb me and I felt no discomfort. This was yesterday. So far, so good. I expect the repair to last indefinitely. Overall, all my experiences with Hawaii Family Dental have been favorable. However, for a total cost of $532 … I mean, for the minimal work required, the results had better be top notch. Right?

I love Dr Iidiko Istvan! I have always been so stressed when going to the dentist. Now when asked how my dental visit went, I say IT WAS FUN!! Dr ildi is the best at making you feel comfortable, always tells you what she is doing as she does it, always checks to see if you are comfortable and feeling no pain. I am always entertained while she is bantering with her assistant Camille...they are so funny. Today's assistant was Jasmine. She also made me feel comfortable.. was so reassuring. I got in at a moments notice for an unscheduled appointment today to fine tune a crown....Dr lldi fit me in. I was In and out very quickly. The best dentist on Maui 😊
