My mom Juanita had gotten braces about 2 1/2 years ago, finally wanting to fix her smile. Dr. Tinhan was upfront about everything that she was going to experience and sure enough, everything went as planned. She got them off today and now has the smile that she can be proud of. The rest of the staff was amazing to her as well. Danielle was always there by her side to get her through this journey. We want to thank everyone there that assisted my mom.

My cleaning today with Dyson was by far the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Dyson has a sense of calm that puts you at ease. He’s gentle, thorough with impeccable technique. He has beautiful energy and will be my go to guy for cleanings! Thank you Dyson!!!

I’ve been coming to Hawaii Family Dental at Queen K since 2019. Their entire staff have always been extremely friendly and professional during every visit. Dr. Park is my dentist and has always carefully answered any questions I had for treatment. Ashton is my dental hygienist and I absolutely love coming to see him for my routine cleaning twice a year. He is so kind and takes his time. My teeth are very sensitive and he’s always aware of that and makes sure I’m comfortable during my appointments. I only like coming to him for my cleanings! Dr. Yunah Park is awesome, she genuinely cares not only for your teeth but your overall health. Nonsense, very direct, and explains in detail your treatment plan, options, and the most beneficial cost-effective course-of-action with an estimated cost factored in. An absolute professional and I had found her sooner.

My Lahaina dentist’s office closed after the fire. I needed a new dentist and tried Hawaii Family Dental. Great location and lots of parking in Kaahumanu Center.Dr. Nicholls is very proficient and patient with questions. Ask for Edwin for cleaning! He’s meticulous and tells you what he’s going to do so you’re not caught off guard. I’ve had a deep cleaning on three teeth and he was really careful and asked if there was any pain before proceeding.I’m a patient for life!

The dental hygienist, Vincent, is very well trained and Knowledgeable about his craft. He was very thorough and very efficient in taking care of me. I would recommend him highly to everyone who needs a good cleaning and polishing.

The staff was superb, receptionist outstanding. The technicians were amazing very personable and caring. Dr. Harris is the absolute best. I felt no pain whatsoever. He was very detailed in his presentation and very caring in his delivery of care.

It was a great experienced. The girl who helped me and do the mold was very nice . The doctor, Dr. Matsumoto came talk to me and explained what needs to be done too. Very high tech, this place and everything is so nice and clean.A beautiful place and very convenient.

Excellent service. I have been a patient of HFDS for 50 years. I've had many different dentists and hygienists over the years. Dr. Istvan and Dr. Stone were both outstanding in my latest visits: kind, comforting and precise. I felt reassured that I will continue to have great dental care. Everyone is so pleasant from start to finish. State of the art facility and equipment. My dentist took extra time and care to ensure her work was the best she could do. She is simply the best!

Im gonna start by saying that I am absolutely TERRIFIED of the dentist and therefore, have not been in over a year. The level of care that the assistant provided, to the dentist being so thorough and actually saying ‘if it were my tooth, what would I do?’, to the cleaner who made the dreadful process completely painless… I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It has completely changed my view on dentists and I am actually looking forward to my next cleaning! You guys are the absolute BEST and I would honestly give 10 stars if I could.. 🌺♥️

The name speaks for it self (Family Dental). The professionalism there is amazing, from their receptionist, to my doctors assistant, and of course my doctor makes everyone feels like Family. We have visited this office two times now with all three of our children who are under the age of 4. The office is very clean and organized. They send out helpful text and email reminders. The staff is friendly and understanding with the kiddos as they try to touch everything around the dental chair. The dentist is kind and there to address any questions or concerns.

Dr. Brian Matsumoto recommended that my front tooth was chipped and needed repair. He gave me an estimate and then did the repair for my tooth, pain free. I’m really happy with his work. Jealy his assistant was also nice and helpful taking X-rays.

The experience at Hawaii dental has been always great for me. Dr Park is an amazing doctor. She makes you feel comfortable and she is quite gentle and calming or makes it soothing. Her staff is just as amazing. Very pleasant and kind.

Edwin is a really good hygienist. His touch is soft and he explains everything very well. What I also really like about Edwin is his interest in learning new/better techiques.
