Mary Jane is the best dental hygienist. We have been going to her for the last 20 years. Dr. Taira is also the best dentist.

First time coming here. Office clean and all on time. Doctor Taira was pleasant and knowledgeable The hygienist, Shanice was super pleasant and thorough. The parking is plentiful, but remember what floor you park on, easy to get lost.

I really appreciate the amount of care I receive whenever I go to the dentist. For many, going to the dentist is an unpleasant experience but at Hawaii Family Dental they treat you right from check-in, through your procedure, and afterward too! Dr. Taira and Sophia have gone above and beyond to make my visits exceptional! I really appreciate the way everyone treats patients - not like clients, but like family!

From start to finish, Bright Smiles Honolulu was awesome! I felt comfortable knowing that safety protocol was in place as I was enthusiastically greeted by Chelsie at the front door and had my temperature taken. Anesthetics were applied with no issues, and the dental work I came for was completed without a hitch. Dr. Taira and her dental assistant Shar, worked together in complete harmony - saying very little to each other but moving and working as one almost as though they could read each other's minds! The results were much more than I expected, and will allow me to enjoy eating again! Absolutely the cherry on top was 70's/80's music being played in the office - something I can absolutely relate to!
