Dr. Stone is an excellent periodontist. I was referred to him to evaluate problems with my implant. Dr. Stone did a thorough evaluation of the condition of my implant and provided a detailed explanation of the issue and recommendations to correct the problem. I followed everything to the “T” and went back to see him on Wednesday and my condition has been corrected. I appreciate Dr. Stone’s care, expertise and thorough plan to help correct my problem. I recommend Dr. Stone to anyone looking for an excellent Periodontist!

Wonderful experience. Easy check in and my hygienist was very kind and personable. Dr. Johnson was amazing like last time, very professional and polite. Quick, efficient visit, but did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend 🙂

Went to get my wisdom taken out bc that sucker was done for… Dr. Johnson was quick with it & I just want to also say Franny was awesome! Franny made sure I was comfortable and she did an awesome job assisting Dr. Johnson!

Check in was easy. All the staff were friendly. Dr. Apala was very friendly, helpful and professional and the same can be said for Jeanie and Jason! For having to go to the dentist it was a very pleasant experience!

Dr.Antolin Apalla is a really good Dr. He does what would be best & informs you on every detail. VERY knowledgeable and funny too. Happy I have a great Dr. Jayson Bryan & Francine is wonderful w/ a happy and delightful smile & attitude. Great team, friendly & extremely knowledgeable. Great assets to Hawaii Family Dental. I had a dental cleaning and my experience was fantastic! Check-in was a breeze, the Hygienist worked efficiently and was very communicative and personable! I love the atmosphere and energy of the staff, here. I always feel safe and respected and well informed!

Sydney was very nervous going in to get her cavity, but after the procedure was done, she felt very comfortable with how the dentist handled everything. The dentist took time to explain the procedure as he did it to her and put her at ease.

I had an appointment yesterday, June 13 2024 with my dental hygienist, Christy Buchanan. She has always been lovely and helpful regarding my gum health. 5 stars for her.However, it was a totally different story regarding my interaction with the operations manager. Krissy advised me to talk with the operations manager regarding an insurance claim.The operations manager was so irrate, harsh, and not helpful at all in clarifying the insurance matter. She was unkind and showed no compassion and understanding.I hope that in the future she would be more mindful of her behavior especially when talking to patients/clients.

Dr. Apalla and his assistant were so gentle, careful, and kind, and my teeth look beautiful. Best dental experience I've ever had. Definitely recommend. Mahalo, HFD!

The whole staff is very nice. They kept me informed during my appointments. My visits with Dr. Apala, Dr. Stone, and Coco all went well.

Wonderful young professional staff. Great cleaning experience. My only complaint is that the seating in your reception room is disgusting. The chairs fabrics are so stained and dirty that I hesitate to sit down. Not a good reflection on your image

When I first started going to hawaii dental I had major mouth issues that I had been dealing with since childhood and some that were caused during a traumatic event. Every single person in the office I interacted with were so sweet and kind and helped my with my dentist anxiety. After a few months of going in for the first time in 20 years or so I had a pain free mouth and could look at myself in the mirror and not be reminded of a bad event that happened. I am so thankful for everyone there and recommend them to the highest degree. ❤️
