I had a cleaning done with Yana over two sessions, and as someone who’s very scared of dental procedures, I didn’t feel a thing. She took care of me both times and it was incredible how skilled she is at making the experience completely painless. The front desk staff are also super friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Once again gentle cleaning and great tips which resolved in better gum care. Love all the super friendly folks at the clinic. They took my fear of going to the dentist!! 🤗So very happy with my hygienist Yana Torgan. She is very informative and gentle while doing the cleaning. Due to her recommendation on how to take care of my gums I only have to go twice for cleaning instead of four times a year.Thank you Yana 🙌👍🥰

Yesterday I had temporary crowns placed on my 2 upper front teeth…a big event for me and I was quite nervous, Dr Thomas was very good at letting me know what he was doing every step of the way which helped me trust him and his procedures. I also appreciated overhearing many interactions he had with his staff and other patients, always kind and calm.

I look forward to my dental cleaning with Christy! She is absolutely amazing; she is thorough, caring and very knowledgeable! Our family loves her!!!!!

Great timing today. Was in and out quick and easy. Much better then 6 years ago. Little difficult understanding the dental assistants because if accent but just had her repeat and got it.Doctor was very informative on what work would be done on me and asked if I had any questions.

Team was all Friendly and on task. The receptionist was awesome she got all my schedules set up and the times that was fitted for my daughter. She was on it. She explained what the appointment was for and what was covered under the insurance. She did a great job. Now thats what I call great customer service.

Lucky for me, someone cancelled and I got an appointment the day I called. The hygienist that did the cleaning was friendly and it went very well and Dr.Mello is a wonderful doctor. I booked my next appointment for the end of this month. I feel good about this clinic.

I failed to mention Dr. Mello. She's a real rockstar. And I mean that. She's so gentle, super fast and efficient. Couldn't ask for more. I was blown away at my last appointment. She made it so pleasant. It was done before I knew it.

As always Vinny thoroughly cleaned my teeth and he shared me tips on how to improve my flossing technique..staffs and Dr Thomas are all friendly so I highly recommend this place

Aloha my name is Jonah Ventura. Finished my appointment on 3/13/26 with Dr. Gene and he does excellent work. From crowns to extractions he has done an amazing job from start to finish. Make sure I’m comfortable and fills me in with updates and important information. Highly recommend him.

I totally love my dentist office. EVERYONE is super cool. It's such a comfortable atmosphere and that's saying a lot because I can't stand going to the dentist! Just one of my own dislikes. HOWEVER, they make it enjoyable and fun. And I love my hygienist. Christy is the BEST ever. Never ever hurts. It's great!

Everyone is so friendly and takes care of all my needs. A new crown and an implant! It’s all been pretty extreme and I’m grateful for their TLC.

My experience at Hawaii family dental Kihei was exceptional these last two visits. I always have a good experience, but I got to see hygienist Yana for the first time, and she made my visit very comfortable and calming. My appointment was for a routine teeth cleaning, but she could see that I needed a deep cleaning and as scary as I’ve heard those to be, she was very gentle, very caring and attentive. She takes a lot of pride in her work and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. I am scheduled to see her again in six months. I recommend Hawaii family dental, and especially recommend Yana.
